Between October 2001 and January 2002 Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery held an exhibition entitled 'Frederick Sandys & the Pre-Raphaelites'. The show brought together over one hundred examples of Sandys' work together with pictures by other leading Pre-Raphaelite artists, including Rossetti, Burne-Jones, Arthur Hughes, Holman Hunt and Millais.
